U.S. District Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon, a Clinton appointee to the Eastern District of Louisiana, 5th Circuit, ruled on Apr 3, that there is no right to intrastate travel.
This is a ruling in the case of Dickerson v. Gretna police and Jefferson County Parish Sheriffs office.
Tracy and Dorothy Dickerson filed a lawsuit against Jefferson Parish, but
U.S. District Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon ruled in a decision made public
Tuesday that "although the right to interstate travel is clearly
established by our jurisprudence, the United States Supreme Court has not decided the question of whether the Constitution protects a right to
intrastate travel."
Now, you'd have to be an idiot not to realize that this goes against over a century of precedent. Any sane and logical person would KNOW that to be able to travel INTERstate, one would have to travel INTRAstate.....but apparently Judge Lemmon would rather make friends with and protect the law enforcement agents than protecting and serving the constitution.
